However, due to budget, I've had to figure a few workarounds that could take my rig to the next level or more, if I were able to blow more dough. mine would be very complicated at this point, by way of being fortunate enough to be able to build the sound I have, only since Fall when I started playing again. Hell, why not post the nuts and bolts/features of individual board? pics or lists, either or. SS and which amps are thought to be most appropriate for, say, the GR line. It took me a while to get sold on the dd500, but after spending some good time with it, it's one of my favorite delays.Noob question, surely, but I wanted to have a discussion about that and the different (better?) ways we run our signal. I have absolutely no desire to buy any other delay pedal, and I'm selling my triple. Pairing the dd500 with my AEX4 is seriously the best delay combination for me. They just seem so basic to me now, especially since their bank systems are way too limited. I used to own the X4, and I currently own the flashback triple, but I honestly haven't even touched my triple since I bought the DD500. The editing options are incredibly deep on the dd500. Actually, since there is a dual mode (limited to a few modes), you can select that for each patch, so you can actually play 4 delays at once! That alone opens up an entirely new world of possibilities. For starters, you can only play 1 delay at a time on the X4, whereas the dd500 lets you play 2. IMHO, the DD500 is light years ahead of the X4 when it comes to options. It's just too inconvenient, but thats not to say it doesnt have its place. I personally have a huge problem with that. The downside to the toneprint editor is that its on the computer, not the actual pedal. What do you mean? It's a bank system with two patches (actually, I think you can even have 3) per bank (99 total!).
